On November 23, 2009, I received a form from
James Malamas, who was very gracious in complementing us on the website. I filed the form and forgot about it much like we all do in our appreciation for their service. We tend to forget about them until we need them to stand in harm's way.

James Malamas attended Hackensack High School from 1963 to 1966.  James served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972, rising to the rank of First Lieutenant and eventually received the
National Defense Service Medal.
